ABOUT
BLOSSOM WITH ERIKA

My Philosophy

I believe that the only way to change for the better is through ongoing self-accountability and acceptance of our flaws; without this, we won't be able to change the things that will lead us to our true healing. Essentially, we must be willing to face some uncomfortable truths about ourselves and we must be willing to work to align our actions with the type of person we wish to become.

During my time as a therapist, I learned that only the people who are truly committed to changing for the better manage to do so. However, why do so many people feel stuck in their healing journey in spite of being willing to take accountability and do the work required to heal? I believe that if you do not have the right person leading the way, your efforts could be futile. As someone with not just the education and professional experience, but also as someone who personally put in the work to heal from toxic cycles of: perfectionism, overachieving, people-pleasing and poor boundaries, self-victimization, hopeless romanticism, low self-worth, poor confidence, and poor family relationships I believe I am the best person to guide you to accomplish the same!

It is true that it is unfair that we have to heal from things that were done to us. However, nothing is going to change by being upset about the injustices we went through forever! Our life only changes when we decide it so! Also, as tough as it might be to accept, many of us grow to play a role in our suffering and we are the only ones who can put an end to those cycles. If you would like to work with an online coach who can give you objective feedback and hold you accountable to help you find your true peace and healing I am the person you need! Book your first session with me and start taking your power back now!

Professional Development

I hold five years of experience working as a mental health therapist. During this time I worked primarily with adolescents, adults, and older adults. I worked with multiple walks of life in private and in community settings including but not limited to people dealing with co-ocurring disorders (i.e. addictions and mental illnesses), survivors of trauma, immigrants, the formerly incarcerated, sex trafficking survivors, etc.
